Semi-automatic for working with steel and alloy alloys
The Weldman Midi MIG 220 welding machine with an inverter power circuit is suitable for welding low-carbon steels and alloy alloys. It supports semi-automatic welding (MIG/MAG) and manual arc welding (MMA). The body has a connector for connecting a ⌀ 8 mm hose to a gas cylinder. Internal dimensions allow the use of wire spools with a diameter of up to 200 mm and a weight of up to 5 kg. The device is equipped with a forced cooling fan, which prevents overheating and allows you to work with a frequency of 60% (6 minutes of work and 4 minutes of rest) at full power. If the welding current does not exceed 170 A in MIG/MAG mode or 120 A in MMA mode, you can work without stopping.
Control Panel Features
On the front panel there are two digital displays for indicating current parameters (ammeter and voltmeter), two signal lamps (power and overheating protection indicators), a button for switching types of welding and three rotary knobs for setting. The welding current adjustment range is 15 – 220 A in MIG/MAG mode (supports wire with a diameter of 0.6 mm to 1 mm) and 20 – 180 A in MMA mode (electrodes with a diameter of 1.6 mm to 4 mm). The user can control the wire feed speed in the range from 2.5 to 13 m/min.
Equipment for experienced welders
The Weldman Midi MIG 220 semi-automatic inverter is a high-quality and powerful device with a good price-performance ratio. It is suitable for workshops or mobile workshops. Such equipment is not recommended for beginners, as it does not have “assistants” or functions that make work easier. Only experienced welders who know how to independently configure modes and parameters can handle it.
