This model is a classic representative of transformer lamps, and is best suited for work in dark rooms, for example, with electrics, plumbing or service stations.

Still not steel, but no longer plastic

The lantern is enclosed in a durable anodized aluminium housing of small size - 89x25 mm. There is 1 LED powered by 1 AA battery. The metal case protects against shocks and drops, and is made sealed - IP33 protection class. It is convenient that this device can be used separately from the head mount, turning it into a hand-held lamp of an angular design. An interesting option is a magnet on the bottom, which allows you to fix the gadget on a metal surface.

Shines powerfully, but not for long

The LED works in 2 modes. The maximum gives light of 140 lumens for lighting up to 35-40 metres, but with these settings, the battery lasts only 1.5 hours. Economy mode produces about 45 lumens (30% of the maximum), which is enough for 8-10 metres of beam range and about 5-6 hours of operation.

The Yarkiy Luch LH-140 is the most simple and reliable flashlight, well suited for everyday work. But taking it on trips is not recommended due to the rapid discharge of batteries.
