This can't possibly work as a starter! It's a scam! Read the instructions carefully!!! It clearly states that to start, the charger needs to be switched to BOOST mode, after which it will turn on and charge the battery with an increased current of 30 Amps for 4 minutes. After that, the charger will beep and stop charging, and only after the beep (end of charge) can you attempt to start the car. If it doesn't work the first time, you should switch the handle to the OFF position and then back to BOOST mode. Only after four minutes of fast charging and the beep indicating the end of charge can you try starting the car again, no other way!!! The internal power semiconductor elements are not designed for current over 30 Amps. Attempting to start the car before the charge is finished will result in burnt diode bridges or power control thyristors, or at best, traces on the printed circuit board, and repairing it will be quite costly. I just repaired such a charger. The 145 Amp current stated in the instructions is completely made up and has nothing to do with this device!!! READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! The power printed board is mounted inside with only two screws on one side, and even with a slight impact, it breaks off. After breaking, upon contact with the metal casing's current-carrying parts, you will face a loud BANG with everything above burning out and more. The diode bridges are attached to the radiator and the case with blind rivets. THE DESIGN IS TERRIBLE!!! Not a bad fast charger, that's all. It cannot be a starter!
