Spherical Shape
Zalman ZET 5 is a CPU cooler whose appearance resembles a jet engine turbine. Previously, the South Korean brand has had spherical models, including completely copper ones. Now, a copper-aluminum tower is used, ventilated by two 120-mm fans, one of which operates in reverse mode. Hydraulic bearings are designed for a service life of up to 40,000 hours.
Thin ARGB Strips
Blades with "shark fins" are connected by a ring, which helps reduce air turbulence. Fans connect without extra cables through a Pogo Pin contact pad, and the noise level does not exceed 30 dB. The cooler's black or white shroud is adorned with three thin ARGB strips, which can be synchronized with ASUS Aura, MSI Mystic, Gigabyte Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome lighting.
With the Future in Mind
Five heat pipes are directly soldered to each of the 53 radiator fins and make contact with the processor through an RDTH heat spreader. The cooler weighs just under a kilogram, and the claimed TDP is 220 W. Current AMD AM5 and Intel LGA 1851 sockets are supported. The model is likely to be compatible with the future LGA 1954 for Nova Lake processors without the purchase of additional mounts.
