Zanussi ZCM9540G1 is visually similar to other models of the company and has about the same price. Only unlike conventional solutions with gas or electric burners, it has a combined hob.

Universal combination

Previously, the Italian brand did not supply gas-electric stoves to our market, but in 2015 three such models became available to our customers at once. ZCM9540H1 and ZCM965301 have one electric burner, while ZCM9540G1 has two. This is a more versatile option. It is good that gas burners have a system that prevents gas leakage in the event that the flame goes out. But, alas, they do not have electric ignition.

It is worth considering one nuance — the lack of a burner of average power of 2-2.5 kW in Zanussi, which most models are equipped with. Cast iron "pancakes" have relatively small power (1 and 1.5 kW) and size (14.5 cm). But a more powerful electric burner has an increased heating rate (express burner). Fast heating, for example, when boiling water, will also be provided by a gas zone with a power of 3 kW.

The oven has two heating elements and a small set of modes: grill, bottom, top or double-sided heating. In terms of volume — 58 L — the "oven" is slightly larger than that of some low-cost products like Beko CSG 42111. But it does not break records among 50 cm stoves. If the door glass gets dirty, it can be easily removed for thorough cleaning. At the same time, it will be easier to clean the “insides”.

However, Zanussi is not without its "zest" — a special mode for making pizza. This dish can be baked in other stoves, but you will have to play with the settings, and for ZCM9540G1 they were initially selected by experts. The result is delicious homemade pizza. Fortunately, there are many recipes on the web. Of course, the oven will also cope with casseroles and other popular dishes.
