The Chinese tap manufacturer Tuozhen has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 2007, selling its products under the Zegor brand. The company successfully demonstrates the balance of design, comfort, quality and price in its products. The Z65-LEB7-A123 tap is a prime example of this.
Stylish design
The product looks very nice. The design is dominated by soft rectangular shapes that fit perfectly into the interior of Hi-Tech and Know-How styles. Square pads on the eccentrics and the original flat watering can give the design a logical completeness.
The case is made of high-quality silumin, obtained by injection molding, which made it possible to increase the service life of the alloy. But still not so much that he could compete in reliability with brass. But the model boasts an abundance of colour solutions. The coating is offered in 4 versions: chrome, bronze, stainless steel and gold.
Comfort and reliability
The product has a ceramic cartridge, which provides the joystick with a smooth and at the same time precise movement. The swivel of the spout works just as smoothly, and the length of the shackle of 32 cm is comfortable enough to be used above the washbasin.
A plastic aerator is installed in the spout, which forms a quiet and soft jet of water, and, according to the manufacturer, reduces its consumption by almost half. We did not check the flow rate, but the jet is really soft and comfortable.
Confident cleanliness
The watering can, in addition to a funny, slightly fantastic design, did not please us with anything else, being completely plastic and single-mode. But I liked the hose. At least outwardly and to the touch inspires confidence. Synthetic rubber with a double metal braid can stretch from one and a half to two metres and, according to the manufacturer, can withstand a breaking load of up to 85 kg, while most other inexpensive hoses are rated for only 30 kg.
In general, no matter how hard we tried to look for shortcomings, usually inherent in Chinese mixers for $ 45, they were not found in Zegor Z65-LEB7-A123. Pleasant in appearance, at a price and in operation, a model that will last for 3-4 years without any problems, even for a large family.
