Universal Russian two-wheel tractor of the middle class

The Zubr MTB-300 middle-class gasoline two-wheel tractor from a Russian manufacturer of mechanized equipment is a universal unit for solving many problems on a garden plot or on a farm with an area of up to 20 acres. This model, when using the appropriate attachments (option), is able to loosen the soil, do deep plowing, prepare the site for planting, clear it of weeds, perform hilling and even remove snow. The relatively low weight of the engine unit of 78 kg in combination with a powerful and reliable petrol engine (7 hp, 5150 W) ensures good manoeuvrability and performance of the machine. The clutch mechanism here is implemented by a drive with a V-shaped toothed belt and a power take-off pulley, and the transmission of torque to the working shaft with a tool is by a cast-iron 3-speed gear-chain gearbox with a hardened hexagonal axis (2 speeds forward and 1 reverse).

Height-adjustable control handles allow the user to control the clutch mechanism, adjust the engine speed, and quickly turn it off. The updated model stands out with a reinforced rear hitch, a massive double-sided coulter with transport wheels, an improved tread pattern for the Ø 40 cm pneumatic tyres and a strong front attachment bracket. Included with the two-wheel tractor are 2 groups of self-sharpening 4-blade cutters made of hardened structural steel and side protective discs. The width of the plowing strip can be adjusted within 60 – 85 cm, and the maximum depth of loosening the soil is an impressive value of 35 cm. All components and mechanisms are assembled on a reinforced rigid frame and are optimally balanced in weight, which significantly reduces the load on the hands during work.
