The ZyXel WRE2206 wireless signal repeater solves the problem of poor Wi-Fi reception in remote rooms of an apartment or country house without unnecessary gestures from the user.
Easy setup
The device is made in a nice white case with protruding "horns" of the plug for direct connection to the outlet. It is configured “easier than a steamed turnip” — if there is power on the repeater, you need to press the WPS button, then you will need to press the same button on the router. ZyXel WRE2206 is equipped with two internal 2.4 GHz antennas and allows you to transmit traffic over a wireless network at speeds up to 300 Mbps. But the frequency of 5 GHz is not supported by the device.
Wired connection
Special for devices without a Wi-Fi module on board, the repeater was equipped with an Ethernet connector, which provides connection speeds up to 100 Mbps. Through the LAN port, you can organize the work of the Internet on a TV, game console or PC over a twisted pair cable. According to the wireless protocol, the model claims to support 802.11b/g/n standards.
LED indication
On the front panel of the repeater there is a circular LED indication of operating modes.
