2E L2820B is one of the most affordable 4K monitors in domestic retail. Built on the basis of a 28-inch IPS-matrix with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. The brightness is declared at the level of 250 cd / m2, and the contrast ratio is 1000: 1. GtG hardware response time is 8ms, but with MPRT up to 1ms software acceleration and FreeSync sync.
An honest hardware 8-bit color gamut with the FRC software extension results in virtual 10-bit or more than 1 billion shades. Whereas other low-cost 4K monitors often use a 6-bit + FRC matrix, that is, only virtual 8-bits. The viewing angle is a maximum of 178 degrees vertically and horizontally.
Video interfaces are exclusively digital: Display Port and two HDMI. Whereas analog VGA is simply not capable of delivering 4K resolution. The stand has many degrees of freedom: height, tilt angle and rotation from landscape to portrait mode. There are also built-in speakers, a headphone jack and a USB port for charging gadgets.
