To each according to his needs
ADATA XPG Spectrix D60G is the top series of RAM from the Taiwanese company, which includes both individual modules and paired sets with a capacity of 8 to 16 GB and a frequency of 3000 to 4133 MHz. The most interesting, in our opinion, is a 2x8 GB kit with a rather high frequency of 3600 MHz and ultra-low timings CL14-15-15-35.
One button overclocking
This frequency is the maximum possible for most AMD Ryzen 3000-series processors and B450 motherboards. And due to the inability to further increase the frequency, the only option to increase the memory bandwidth is to reduce the timings. In the case of the XPG Spectrix D60G, you do not have to manually select the optimal ratio of frequency, timings and supply voltage using the DRAM Calculator for Ryzen programme. A guaranteed working XMP auto-overclocking profile is sewn directly into the memory modules.
spectrum of light
It was possible to achieve ultra-low timings of the CL14 at 3600 MHz with a supply voltage of 1.45 volts. The voltage isn't low, but the XPG Spectrix D60G's thick-walled aluminium heatsinks handle heat dissipation easily. In addition, they are equipped with semi-matte diffusers, so that it would seem that not individual RGB diodes, but the entire module, shimmer with all the colours of the rainbow. You can adjust the colour and glow mode using the proprietary XPG RGB Sync App.
Choice Chips
Hidden under the heatsinks are Samsung B-die chips, obviously handpicked. This allows you to easily overclock the XPG Spectrix D60G over 4000 MHz Naturally, only on Intel Core 9 and 10-series processors, as well as AMD 4000-series. The maximum possible overclocking frequency, as usual, depends on the success of a particular instance of memory, processor and motherboard. The XPG Spectrix D60G can be slightly scolded, perhaps, only for the high heatsinks (almost 5 cm), which can interfere with the installation of a large processor cooler. Fortunately, there is also a low-profile XPG Hunter memory in the ADATA assortment.
