A new beginning

Acer Predator Apollo is a gaming brand of RAM that has proven itself in laptops, monitors and gaming peripherals. High radiators consist of several elements: metal plates and a plastic light diffuser. All this is complemented by the recognizable Predator logo.

Let there be light!

The backlight works on ARGB technology, that is, it is addressable, it allows you to configure each LED separately and synchronize with the motherboard. Applications from all major motherboard manufacturers are supported: ASUS Aura, MSI Mystic, Gigabyte Fusion, ASRock Polychrome and Biostar Vivid.

Desired find

A decorative illuminated radiator is far from the only advantage. The chips are high-end Samsung B-die, which are "hunted" by all computer enthusiasts without exception. Due to this, at its native XMP frequency of 3600 MHz, the memory operates at lower timings CL16-16-16-36.

Subtleties of overclocking

Further manual overclocking depends more on the processor. From the Ryzen 5000-series, it will be possible to squeeze out only 4000 MHz, and, most likely, in asynchronous mode. But the Ryzen 4000-series, with the best memory controller among AMD processors, will probably conquer the 4400 MHz bar. This will be especially useful for the integrated Radeon Vega graphics card.
