The perfect pocket projector
Acer says without undue modesty that the C200 is one of the best portable projectors on the market. It weighs only 350 grams (a typical portable projector weighs a kilo and a half), and the 6700 mAh battery holds a charge for about 4.5 hours (or 2 honest hours in maximum brightness mode), which is almost twice as much as analogs from other companies. Given that in which case you can recharge a dead smartphone and other equipment from it, it turns out to be an extremely interesting option for trips.
Friendly with smartphones, tablets, PCs and laptops
Now about the most important. Acer C200 forms an image with a resolution of 854x480 pixels, the aspect ratio can be optional (16:9 or 4:3) and brightness up to 200 lm. Considering that this kid is asking for less than $300, this is an excellent value for money. LED lamp life is 20,000 hours in normal mode and 30,000 hours in ECO mode. To extend the life of the projector, the projector will turn itself off when not in use. The Acer C200 receives video signal via HDMI with MHL support. Acer's branded USB dongle, which is not included in the kit, provides image transfer from a tablet, laptop or smartphone, which is much more convenient than primitive players and viewers, which are often set to be.
Correcting distortion when the projector is repositioned
Judging by the tests, it looks like the Acer C200 uses DLP IntelliBright technology when transmitting images. This is an image processing software that brightens dark areas, making the image appear brighter, although the physical brightness of the projector is not increased. But this is not accurate, we did not find any mention of IntelliBright on the official Acer page. Another important point is the support for geometry distortion correction when the projector is tilted. In ordinary projectors, we take it for granted, but here it is a damn useful thing that allows you to place the projector even on the floor, even on the pedestal. Without it, you would have to fiddle with a tripod so that the projector is not lower than the image and the image geometry has the correct shape.
