Water protection. Multiroom support. Capacious battery. Numerous slots. Power bank function. Ability to connect to up to three devices at the same time.

High power mobile speaker system with Bluetooth wireless connection, speakerphone function and excellent battery life. It is positioned as a product of the highest price category with extended functionality. Designed for scoring large rooms and open areas of a large area. Supports proprietary JBL Connect + technology, which provides wireless integration of several similar speakers into a single speaker system.

It has a stylish and durable rubber-plastic case, reliably protected from water ingress according to the IPX7 standard. Gives high-quality sound with a characteristic bass accent, covering the frequency range from 55 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The JBL Xtreme 2 mobile speaker delivers high output power (up to 40W) and is equipped with an impressive 10,000mAh lithium polymer battery. This battery provides up to 15 hours of battery life.

In addition, the device can function as a universal mobile battery and charge other gadgets. The speakerphone is equipped with echo and noise canceling technology, so communication during calls will remain clear even in difficult audio environments. To synchronize with a sound source (smartphone, tablet, laptop), an energy-efficient bluetooth 4.2 interface is used, operating within a radius of up to 10 m. The speaker weighs 2.3 kg, and special metal loops are provided on the case to carry it.

Model overview based on user reviews
The JBL Xtreme 2 is a highly recommended portable speaker known for its excellent sound quality and powerful bass, making it ideal for pop music enthusiasts. It features water resistance and comes with a convenient strap that includes a bottle opener. Despite its substantial weight of nearly 2.5 kg, it is praised for its durability and suitability for stationary use or outdoor gatherings. The speaker offers a long battery life of up to 15 hours and functions as a power bank. Users appreciate its Bluetooth range and connectivity options, although some note minor issues with noise at low volumes and AUX connection quirks. Overall, the JBL Xtreme 2 is valued for its high-quality sound and robust design, though it may not be the best choice for those seeking ultra-portability.

good model, I liked it.
22 March 2021
Overall, the speaker is excellent. However, I was a bit surprised by the actual size of this model. Compared to a 2.5-liter beer bottle. In the video, it seemed a bit smaller. The volume is quite high, and even at maximum, the sound doesn't get distorted. The battery also pleased me. I can't say how many hours it actually lasts yet, but the stated 15 hours, at my usage, at not high volume, is easy to achieve. Even outdoors at 0 degrees Celsius. Also, the Bluetooth works at quite a long distance. I tested it in an open area with no interference. I walked away about 50 meters, and the speaker showed no signs of losing connection with the phone and continued playing. I didn't go further. What disappointed me was the noise at low music volume. Barely noticeable, but present. For those who like to listen to music quietly in the background, this might not be the best choice. Also, the speaker works strangely when connected via aux to a computer. When there's practically nothing happening in terms of sound in a game, it sometimes goes silent for a few seconds and then comes back. I've been using the device for less than a week.

noise at low volume.
- Strange operation via AUX.

great model, love it

Good speaker for the price, very comfortable strap.
Great bass response.
Strap
Appearance
The problem with almost all JBL devices is that at high volumes, the music plays louder than the bass, which spoils the sound quality. The belt hooks wear out quickly, but only at the bottom, so it doesn't ruin the appearance from the top. If you carry the speaker on your back, it's hard to hear.

Draw your own conclusion, I just gave you food for thought and that’s all)
4 July 2020
This speaker will not try to please you. It won't go "all out of its way" for you to admire it, because you will admire it anyway. I'm telling you this not just for the sake of it, but so that you do not expect studio monitor level. I'm not saying that the sound is bad. By no means! The sound in it is excellent, without the barrel effect like present in some Chinese speakers (not all, naturally). It doesn't have a flat and "plastic" sound. But you know when it will truly amaze you? I'll tell you: When you are alone with it, in a closed room closer to evening. Then it will tell you that taking it was not in vain. I'm not a crazy fan of this company (JBL), who will praise each of its products with "foam from the mouth." I'm a simple, ordinary, beautiful, and modest user who loves a good deal, but doesn't like to skimp on my ears.
As was written earlier, this is sound. It is excellent, detailed and clean, without blockages at maximum at any frequencies, etc. In simple words, the sound is excellent. Next, I will list all other points briefly and clearly. And yes, if you have read up to this point, then you are the best) Strap: comfortable, pleasant, but not ideal. There is a bottle opener. Connectors: charging (not via micro-usb, but through a special charger), aux and usb connector for charging, not for a flash drive, just for CHARGING. And a micro-usb service connector (not suitable for charging). Battery: well, everything is simple here. It lasts a long time if you don’t charge the device (read just above).
Weight: Could have been lighter (could finally use smaller magnets). Although it gives a certain charm when worn and just when you hold it in your hands. Volume: This point is only for those expecting this speaker to blow their minds with its volume. I'm telling you right away, there's a lot (not too much, but still). This is not a JBL Boombox or any JBL Partybox. If you only need volume, previous models from JBL are perfect for you. If not from JBL, there are great models from Sony (SRS-XB41 and SRS-XB40, with roughly similar dimensions), Marshall (I'm not very familiar with their lineup, have heard and listened to them live very little), if you need it to be "really loud!", then, as mentioned above, either JBL Boombox or any JBL Partybox, any (by everyone's choice) large speakers from Sony/LG, but to me, these are no longer quite portable speakers (in my opinion, and I'm not urging anyone to buy speakers from these specific brands). Also, in the realms of the Celestial Empire (China), there are many decent models, but before jumping to hasty conclusions, check out detailed video reviews on YouTube, but watch on different channels, as many simply don't disclose a lot about them (speakers and others). I won't comment on water resistance, only that it exists and the speaker can be submerged to a depth of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes (best not to experiment with a longer time/depth, you know the rest).
