Acer's line of 16-inch laptops in 2023 has expanded its Nitro gaming series. It offers balanced solutions for games, and among the abundance of modifications there are both mid-budget and advanced models. One of the key features of these laptops is a good discrete graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series, which can offer hardware ray tracing, support for machine learning algorithms to optimize gameplay and, of course, consistently high FPS in popular AAA titles at Full resolution HD and cool settings.
Acer Nitro 16 AN16-41 laptops are based on the AMD Rembrandt R (Zen 3+) platform, and depending on the configuration, either 6-core Ryzen 5 or 8-core Ryzen 9 with impressive clock speeds can be used. The performance is ensured by DDR5 RAM, which provides a noticeable increase in performance compared to the previous generation RAM. For data storage, SSD M.2 solid state drives are offered with capacities from 512 to 1024 GB.
A 16-inch IPS screen with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, fast response (3 ms) and decent color gamut (covers 100% of the sRGB space) is responsible for displaying the image. Nice features of the models include the presence of a 4-zone keyboard backlight, a Killer Ethernet E2600 network controller with a gigabit LAN port, popular interfaces and a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) wireless communication module. In addition, it is worth highlighting the built-in acoustics with support for DTS X Ultra, an effective cooling system with a pair of fans and a capacious 5850 mAh battery, which is claimed to have up to 10 hours of battery life.
