Large 27-inch Ultra HD gaming monitor based on high-quality IPS matrix. Traditionally, monitors designed for gaming systems are made on the basis of TN-matrices with a low response time, but not the best colour reproduction and weak comfortable viewing angles. However, starting in 2015, leading manufacturers of gaming solutions began to release premium monitors with IPS screens. Acer XB271HKbmiprz has a screen with a diagonal of 27" (68.5 mm) and ultra-high resolution 3840x2160. Such parameters provide the highest pixel density of 163 ppi (64 pixels / cm) and detail. You need to understand that a full-fledged Ultra HD resolution creates a powerful load on the computer's video subsystem and, in such a situation, only top-end video adapters can maintain an acceptable frame rate at high graph...ics settings. This screen is based on a high-quality 10-bit AHVA IPS-matrix with W-LED backlight. It provides 100% coverage of the sRGB colour space, maximum brightness up to 300 cd/m2, contrast ratio 1000:1 and viewing angles up to 178 degrees. With fast pixel switching speed (4ms GtG, 8ms BtW) and support for NVIDIA G-Sync technology, the monitor easily handles highly dynamic gaming scenes without blurring fast motion. It also completely eliminates the characteristic frame breaks that often occur on conventional bit monitors. The complete stand has all possible degrees of freedom, including the ability to change the screen orientation from landscape to portrait. There are two built-in speakers 2x2 W. The monitor is connected via Display Port 1.2 or HDMI 1.4 (both types of cables are included as standard).

All  specifications

The unpronounceable monitor model index from Acer hides a predator familiar to every gamer — the device is part of the Acer Predator series of gaming devices.

IPS matrix

Unlike most gaming solutions, the monitor matrix is built using IPS technology. This slightly increased its response time (up to 4 ms), but it made it possible to provide natural colour reproduction and wide viewing angles (178 ° on all fronts). You don’t have to worry about the smoothness of the picture in highly dynamic scenes at all — proprietary G-Sync technology comes to the rescue, using which the screen refresh rate adjusts to the frame rate of the incoming signal. It should be noted that this "trick" works exclusively with NVIDIA video cards.

Aimed shooting

The size of each individual pixel of the monitor is 0.15 mm — on a 27-inch panel, the individual dots that make up the image will not be evident at all. But what will be visible is the pre-set control point for aimed shooting in shooting games. There are several sight options to choose from, sharpened for different types of weapons. The same technology, called Predator Game View, performs another important function — it can be used to adjust black levels to improve visibility in dark gaming scenes.

Aggressive appearance

The monitor itself has a memorable aggressive appearance. The eye immediately clings to the red inserts on its stand and the bloody illuminated Predator logo. All interfaces for connecting third-party devices are hidden on the back. These include 1 HDMI port, 1 Display Port and a 3.5-miniJack for connecting headphones. Also on the case there was a place for 4-watt speakers with a pretty good sound.

Comfortable pastime

With a long stay in front of the monitor, the eyes will not get tired at all. Special thanks for this should be said to special technologies for reducing visual load(Flicker-Less, Blue-Light, ComfyView and Low-Dimming). Only the high cost of the monitor can upset potential buyers. In contrast, it should be compared with a 4K screen resolution (3840x2160 pixels) and a whole bunch of "goodies" for comfortable gaming — in this case, the price tag justifies itself by 100%.
