Predator
The Acer Predator Z35P is a gaming monitor for gamers who appreciate the exotic and are willing to pay extra for it. It has a 35-inch screen with a "cinema" aspect ratio of 21:9 instead of the more usual "34" + 16:9.
Concerned about resources
Thanks to an unusual ratio, its resolution was reduced to 2560x1080 pixels in order to reduce the load on the graphics card, while not losing much image quality.
A class
If we take all this out of the brackets, then we have an A-class gaming monitor, with support for several backlight modes and an appearance that seems to have been invented by the same person who drew guns and armor in Crysis.
Top Features
The monitor has a brightness of 300 cd/m2. Static and dynamic contrast ratios are 3000:1 and 100,000,000:1 respectively. The vertical frequency is 100 Hz, while Acer offers the ability to programmatically overclock it to 120 Hz right in the monitor menu. But the degree of curvature was reduced to 2000R, while most of the competitors' monitors are bent to 1800R.
With USB-C support
As for additional functions, it is impossible not to note the presence of 4 USB 3.0 ports at once. In 2018, this is not so much a nice bonus as a necessity, but many manufacturers often ignore it. Rounding out the picture is a DTS stereo system with two 9W speakers that does a good job of replacing small speakers.
