Aerocool Cylon 4 (ACTC-CL30410.06)
Videos 12Photos 10 |
A multi-platform and relatively affordable air CPU cooler with spectacular controllable RGB LED lighting, a classic U-shaped arrangement of four heat pipes and a single-section aluminium radiator with a 120 mm fan. Designed to cool Intel and AMD processors of the Mainstream/Performance class with heat dissipation up to 145 W. It is distinguished by the presence of RGB backlighting on the top / side surfaces of the case and the use of Heat Core Touch Technology direct contact technology.
You can use one of the built-in modes to control the backlight, or connect the Aerocool Cylon 4 cooler to a compatible AddressableRGB hub or motherboard. Relatively small size (height 155 mm) allows you to install this model in almost any case that meets the ATX standard. The quiet and efficient 11-blade 120mm fluid dynamic bearing fan is PWM controlled and can operate between 800 and 1600 rpm.

Unique Design
Despite the name Aerocool, this company only entered the market of cooling systems for CPUs in 2018, and before that it was concentrated mainly on the production of cases and power supplies. It didn't work out so well at first, but over time, Aerocool found a suitable recipe. For example, their 2019 Cylon 4 model turned out to be very successful, attracting buyers not only with a low price with good technical characteristics, but also with a unique design. The one-piece case made of matte plastic with stylish RGB strips around the perimeter of the frame looks unusual and just asks for a minimalist gaming case from Thermaltake.
Great option for cooling 6-core processors
Now about the quality of cooling. The cooler includes four heat pipes that are in direct contact with the processor cover, increasing the cooling quality. The 120 mm spinner operates from 800 to 1800 rpm and generates airflow up to 52.5 cubic feet per hour. The noise level does not exceed 26 dBA. The TDP limit of 145 W is just enough for most modern 6-core processors in moderate overclocking.
Maximum Compatibility
In addition to beautiful backlighting, its advantages include moderate dimensions that allow you to avoid conflicts when installing a long graphics card or RAM with high radiators, ease of installation and the ability to work backlighting without support from the motherboard. Of the obvious shortcomings, only the turntable is fixed in the case, which will be difficult to replace if it breaks, and a slight crackle when working at low speeds.
