I'm satisfied with the camera. Although there are some downsides. For its price, it's a solid 4.

The camera is average, as I have something to compare it with. However, it does have its pros, for instance, it performs quite well at night. I use it as a bike dashcam and have fully tested the stabilizer. As long as you avoid sudden movements, it works fine. With sudden movements, the image might jitter a little, which is not very pleasing. During the day, the quality is decent. Everything is visible, but I feel there's a lack of detailing. I set the quality to 1920x1080p at 60 fps, which in my opinion, offers the best detail and optimal video file size. The inclusion of a plastic case is quite appealing, as I ride in both heat and rain, and you can't control the weather. I was surprised by the standard 1/4 mount. Honestly, I wasn't prepared for this because I have accessories for the GoPro, which I lost on a trip. I'll note that the menu isn't very user-friendly. The icons are small, and there are many of them. Coupled with the touch screen (which is extremely inconvenient when the camera is in the protective casing), it's not user-friendly and, in my opinion, not practical. The build quality is excellent. I like everything. But for this price, it's probably hard to expect super video quality.
It records well at night, although there is some noise in the video. I'm not sure how much of an advantage the 1/4 connector is. Probably an advantage for those who want to use it with a selfie stick. The menu is very fast. The microphone quality is decent. The battery is capacious, lasting 2.5-3 hours.
Stabilization sometimes tears frames and teleports the image. This happens with sudden camera movement. The touchscreen often hinders navigation, and I don’t like the menu itself much either.

For selfie lovers

AirOn ProCam 8 is a miniature and lightweight (only 91 grams), but solidly assembled action camera based on a high-performance Novatek NT96660 processor and a good 12 MP Sony Exmor photosensor. It is equipped with two screens: the main rear LTPS touchscreen with a 2-inch diagonal and HD resolution, and an additional front monochrome OLED for displaying service information while shooting in selfie mode.

For avid videographers

AirOn ProCam 8 supports video recording with a resolution from VGA (640x480 pixels) at an increased frequency of 240 frames per second (Slow Motion mode) to 4K at 50 FPS (albeit “square-Instagram” 2880x2160 instead of wide-format 3840x2160). It also supports the cutting-edge H.265 video codec with an extended WDR color range, which has high image quality with a small file size (more hours of recording fit on a memory card up to 128 GB).

For scuba divers

The AirOn ProCam 8 comes with a sealed transparent case for underwater shooting at depths of up to 40 meters. It can be used to capture the wonderful world of marine flora and fauna in both video and photo formats - with software interpolation up to 60 MP and correction of the "fish-eye" effect (a convex picture due to the ultra-wide viewing angle of the seven-lens lens).

For pedestrians and cyclists

AirOn ProCam 8 will appeal not only to extreme tourists, but also to ordinary tourists: by installing it on a monopod or bicycle handlebars, you can shoot educational vlogs about traveling around the cities of your home country or abroad. This action camera is equipped with a Wi-Fi module for synchronization with a smartphone (YKJ application for iOS and Android), a miniHDMI port for broadcasting video to a TV or projector, and a modern reliable USB Type-C USB Type-C connector with the ability to connect an external microphone. A replaceable 1350 mAh battery allows you to record up to 70 minutes of video without recharging. AirOn also has more affordable action cameras in its range, which also shoot in 4K: ProCam 4K Plus and ProCam 7.
