The SJCAM SJ6 Legend is a versatile action camera that emerged in mid-2017, offering a 16-megapixel sensor and the ability to shoot pseudo-4K video at 2880x2160 resolution with 24 fps, although it excels in Quad HD (2560x1440, 30 fps) and Full HD (1920x1080, 60 fps) modes. It features a 166-degree wide viewing angle and captures photos at 4608x3456 pixels. The camera's design is compact, weighing under 80 grams, and includes a touchscreen display for easy navigation. It also offers digital image stabilization to smooth out movements. However, the pseudo-4K mode is interpolated, and the color palette is overly warm. Despite these drawbacks, it is a strong competitor to the GoPro series, ideal for outdoor adventures due to its unpretentiousness and convenient size. The built-in 1000 mAh battery supports up to 90 minutes of Full HD recording at 60 fps.

The action camera is good not only for all kinds of extreme people, who don’t feed bread, let youtube videos show off. Personally, I like to take such a camera on hikes (including mountain trips) and just on vacation. Due to the unpretentiousness of the camera and convenient weight and size, you can absolutely not worry about it and just enjoy the moment. This is a fairly new model that appeared on the market in mid-2017. However, it only reached us by the end of the year, and even then, I think, unofficially. By the way, if you're going to buy it, beware of fakes. Yes, yes, don't be surprised. Chinese are imitating Chinese products )) The camera is equipped with a 16-megapixel sensor and can shoot pseudo-4K video with a resolution of 2880x2160 at a frame rate of 24 fps, but it performs best in Quad HD mode (2560x1440, 30 fps), Full HD (1920x1080, 30 or 60 fps) or regular HD 720p at 120 fps. And for super slo-mo recording, you can even use VGA mode with an incredible 240 fps. Photos are taken at a resolution of 4600x3450 pixels, and the quality is decent, but due to the specific wide viewing angle of 166 degrees, they look unusual. The camera has a traditional "small brick" design, weighs less than 80 grams, and has two screens. The one in the front (black and white) displays current shooting parameters, while the rear has a full-color 320x240 touchscreen display. There is digital image stabilization, which really helps smooth out sudden movements. The built-in battery has a capacity of 1000 mAh, which is enough for 80-90 minutes of Full HD recording at 60 fps. The pseudo-4K video is interpolated from Quad HD, and 24 frames per second is simply not enough to achieve a smooth picture. So it's best not to use this mode at all. Additionally, the camera has an overly "warm" color palette. |
