The Alcatel USB modem is a compact accessory (88x28x11 mm) that will provide mobile Internet access for a laptop or personal computer. To connect to devices and at the same time power the accessory, a USB 2.0 port is offered. The model, in addition to the SIM card slot, provides a slot for microSD memory cards, so it can also be used as a portable data carrier, acting as a more functional alternative to traditional flash drives.

The heart of the device is a Cat.4 LTE modem, for which the peak reception rate can reach 150 Mbps, and the data transfer rate can reach 50 Mbps. The Alcatel IK40V modem also supports older communication technologies, including GPRS, EDGE and W-CDMA, which ensures correct operation in networks of younger generations.
