Whoa whoa whoa!!!!! A 5-inch monitor speaker at such a sweet price!!!! But wait... Alesis????!!! Is that the manufacturer known for making budget monitors that are so-so? Well... yes(. But wait!!!! Alesis M1 is revolution Johnny. For such budget monitors, the sound is surprisingly good XD (I myself have APS Classic 2020). The midrange audio and approximately higher and lower frequencies sound clear. But the bass... The bass leaves something to be desired. Don't think it doesn't rumble... It rumbles and more than it should, and it's dense, that's for sure. What didn't please me in the sound? The tweeter. Honestly, the highs are mediocre. If the bass is "+-", the mid is "+", then the highs... well, that's a "-" (it's bearable to listen to). Well, what do you expect for that price?) Are you buying them for pro use?) Don't make me laugh). For this money, you'll get a very decent sound. For a budget studio, these will do just fine. Probably, the competitor would be the KRK Classic 5 G3 (although more expensive), or definitely the Eris 4.5. But don't underestimate Alesis. The sound is too solid.
