All sorts of computer and mobile peripherals come out under the flags of ANKER. In light of the refusal of many smartphone manufacturers to equip them with “chargers”, it would be useful to buy a powerful network charger for a mobile phone. The PowerPort + Atom 3 model will fit into the role of such.
Total power 60 W
The internal design of the charger uses GaN technology. Replacing traditional silicon with gallium nitride as part of semiconductors made it possible to reduce the dimensions of the accessory without compromising the quality and charging power. The model provides a total connection power of up to 60 W, of which 45 W can be obtained through a USB-C connector with Power Delivery support, and another 15 W from a USB A port with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support.
Duo of charging connectors
The symmetrical USB-C connector in the NAS interface shelf is suitable for powering tablets and laptops, the classic USB connector is used to charge mobile phones and other gadgets with relatively low power consumption. However the cables for their connection must be purchased separately, since wires are not included in the standard package of the “charger”.
MFI certification
The model has been certified under the MFI programme, which stands for Made for iPhone / iPad / iPod. In more understandable terms, the ANKER PowerPort + Atom 3 network charger is officially approved for use in conjunction with Apple portable equipment. A detailed "charger" compatibility list can be found on the corresponding product page of the Anker website.
