Satechi ST-TC100GM is a real charging hub for streamlining the connection of an armada of home electronics. The model differs from its colleagues in the absence of a built-in plug and is more like a kind of power bank with three output power connectors.

Advanced GaN Technology

The charger is powered by a detachable cable. Inside it unfolds semiconductor circuitry based on advanced GaN technology, which provides fast and efficient charging while maintaining the compact size of the network device. To protect against overheating and short circuits, appropriate electrical safety systems are provided.

High charging power

All output ports, along with an LED activity indicator, are concentrated on one of the short ends of the charger case. Among them are two symmetrical USB-C connectors with a maximum power of up to 100 watts per device and a 12-watt USB A port. With two consumers connected via USB-C interfaces, the Power Delivery charging power is distributed in a ratio of 60 W / 30 W to each of these ports.

On full steam

When operating in full power mode, the charging hub heats up noticeably. Another claim to it is related to the lack of charging wires in the package. However, these disadvantages are more than offset by a really impressive charging power, which is suitable both for extending the battery life of mobile gadgets and for recharging high-performance gaming laptops.
