AOC monitors are a lot of surprises even in the low-cost segment. Model 24P2Q once again proves that a quality product for adequate money is a reality.

The main thing is the screen

The front panel of the monitor in a frameless design is available to the IPS-matrix of the traditional FullHD format (1920x1080 pixels). It is stretched diagonally by 23.8", the response time of the display is measured in the range of 4 ms, and the colour gamut is claimed at the level of about 107% of the sRGB “triangle”. Speaking in an understandable language, the monitor will fit both for work and for leisure activities, and even for games (albeit not the most dynamic ones). Its sweep frequency is 75 Hz.

Proprietary technologies

In order to ensure the transfer of a smooth video stream , the monitor supports Adaptive-Sync frame synchronization technology (the same AMD FreeSync, only in profile). It also features Flicker-Free backlighting and Low Blue Mode to reduce eye fatigue. Finally, the borders of the image on the monitor screen are blurred by thin frames (top and sides).

Interface Diversity

An analogue VGA input, DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D connectors, an audio output and a four-port USB 3.0 hub are sheltered on the monitor case. In addition, 2 speakers with a power of 2 W each are built into the device. Greater freedom of action in the placement of the monitor screen gives an ergonomic stand with adjustable display positions for height, tilt and orientation. As for the flaws, the models note the uneven colour temperature of individual monitors. However, this defect, fortunately, is not of a massive nature.
