A mid-range gaming model with a 27-inch Fast IPS screen that delivers a maximum Quad HD resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. The panel's response time in gray-to-gray mode is from 1 ms, and using MPRT technology, it is reduced to 0.3 ms. The default refresh rate of the IPS matrix is 240 Hz, while it supports a boost to 260 Hz. However, the peak brightness of the display barely reaches 300 cd/m², which does not allow for full-fledged support for HDR content.
The AOC Q27G42ZE display is good in another important parameter — it demonstrates accurate color reproduction. This is confirmed by coverage of 123.6% of the sRGB gamut, 91.4% of the Adobe RGB space, and 95.2% of the DCI-P3 spectrum. Connectivity options include DisplayPort v 1.4 and an HDMI port version 2.0. The monitor is mounted on a stand with adjustments for screen tilt (up-down) only. For mounting on third-party brackets, VESA 100x100 mm compatibility is provided.
