AOC AGON AG322QCX 32 " black
Outdated Product A truly large curved gaming monitor with 144Hz refresh rate and QHD resolution. AOC AG322QCX features high contrast ratio, high-quality colour reproduction and support for AMD FreeSync technology. The screen with a diagonal of 31.5" has a resolution of 2560x1440, which provides an average pixel size of 0.27 mm. Thus, the image turns out to be quite detailed, but the problem of too small fonts or other elements of the game interface that occurs on 27-inch diagonals is not relevant here. A smooth curve reduces distortion of the image in the corners and creates a greater effect of immersion in the events taking place on the screen. The bending radius is 1.8 metres, which is much greater than the distance to the user, so it does not create any problems or side effects. The screen is based on a...full-fledged 8-bit VA-matrix with Flicker-Free W-LED backlight. Such a matrix with a good maximum brightness (300 cd / m²) has an increased contrast ratio of 2000: 1, which has a positive effect on the realism of the image. Viewing angles approach the maximum possible 178 degrees. High pixel switching speed, 144Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync support make it possible to display fast motion very smoothly and clearly, as well as completely avoid characteristic frame tearing. The monitor is equipped with an ergonomic stand, which makes it possible to adjust the height of the screen and rotate it around the vertical plane and the longitudinal plane (-5 to +28 degrees). There is a 2-port USB 3.0 hub with a fast charging function for gadgets. An analogue VGA connector is provided for connecting a signal source, as well as two Display Port 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 ports. |

Attractive and ergonomic
The gaming orientation of the representative of the Agon line from AOC is emphasized by a strict and moderately aggressive design. Particularly noteworthy is the arched metal stand with the ability to adjust the height of the location, tilt and turn left and right. An additional decoration of the monitor is the back side of the case, where silver wings with decorative illumination are located (it is also duplicated at the bottom of the screen).
At the back of the AOC AG322QCX there are video inputs (2 HDMI, VGA, Display Port), a mini-Jack, a USB hub with fast charging support and a swivel headphone holder. There is also a pair of built-in speakers (2x5 W), the volume of which is enough, at least for comfortable watching videos on YouTube.
Quality picture
The monitor features a 32-inch curved screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio (35-inch version — AOC AG352QCX has an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio). The display resolution is 2560x1440 pixels, which provides an acceptable pixel density (0.27 mm) without pronounced graininess.
AOC AG322QCX received an 8-bit VA-matrix with a high contrast ratio of 2000: 1 (black colour is deep and natural) and accurate colour reproduction out of the box. Peak brightness of 300 cd/m2 is enough to form a rich image and combat glare. However when changing viewing angles, colour reproduction distortions appear, the picture fades, and the contrast drops.
Gaming potential
The AOC AG322QCX monitor has a fast response time (4ms) with the possibility of overdrive (additional overclocking). The use of the latter is not implemented in the best way and often causes artifacts in the form of loops in dynamic scenes.
The screen refresh rate is 144 Hz, in addition, the device supports FreeSync, which is designed to provide additional smoothness of the picture to owners of AMD video cards that are compatible with this technology.
Additionally, special game functions are implemented, such as shadow lightening (Shadow Control) and quick switching between profiles (a wired control panel is provided for these purposes). Protective technologies against flicker (Flicker-Free) and reduction of blue light (Low Blue Light) are also implemented.
Considering the large diagonal and Quad HD resolution, the AOC AG322QCX price looks very tempting, which makes the model the best choice for those who want to get a large gaming monitor without extra costs.
