An IPS-matrix with FullHD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) is assigned to the role of the protagonist of the model, which is characterized by a brightness of 250 cd / m², a contrast ratio of 1,000: 1, viewing angles of 178 ° and a response time of 4 ms. For safety and comfort, the AOC I2790VQ features a Low Blue Light feature designed to minimize the intensity of potentially eye-damaging blue light.

There are three interfaces for connecting to a video signal source in the assets of the model: an analogue VGA connector, a digital Display Port and an HDMI connector. Additionally, a 3.5mm mini-Jack audio output is offered, however, its services may not be needed due to the presence of two simple speakers on board the monitor with a total sound power of 4 watts.
