The FDM *fused deposition modeling* technology is enhanced with a range of sensors and control systems to prevent "spaghetti," line distortions, and surface unevenness. The core of the printing process is a Direct drive extruder mounted on a lightweight carbon rail. The printer offers a high speed of 500 mm/s and minimal inertia. The necessary temperature for melting is provided by a ceramic heater.
The device is compatible with all modern materials: ABS, PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, PET, ASA, PA, PC, as well as composite types using carbon fiber. The integrated AMS system automatically detects the type of filament and calculates its amount...to assess the project's success. It can hold up to 4 spools at once for multicolor printing. Automatic calibration and analysis of the first layer using the intelligent LIDAR sensor ensure high-quality objects. Bambu Lab X1 Carbon Combo AMS supports printing from PC, smartphone, and cloud.
