— the presence of a built-in digital camera in a printer, allowing the printing process to be captured—usually both in photos and videos—though the specific shooting capabilities should be clarified separately. Printers with this feature often also have Wi-Fi modules and/or LAN network connectors (see "Connection") and can transmit recorded materials over the network, with further use of these materials mainly depending on the user's preferences. One of the most popular uses of the built-in camera is remote print monitoring: you can keep an eye on the process from a computer on the local network (or even over the Internet) without having to approach the printer unnecessarily. Additionally, the data from the camera (in live stream mode or recorded) can be used as a demonstration, as a visual aid in training/orientation, and so on.
