The working surface of the device of the Turkish brand Beko is covered with glass ceramics. Thanks to this, the model is not only attractive in appearance, but also very practical. It is stronger than its tempered glass counterparts, and its electric burners are devoid of protruding elements, which somewhat simplifies maintenance.

2 hi-light heating zones

Beko HILM 64222 S received two gas (right) and electric (left) burners. The latter are represented by hi-light burners. Their heating elements respond faster to turning on and changing power compared to traditional cast-iron pancakes, are easy to clean and are complemented by residual heat indicators. The latter will not go out until the heating zones have cooled down after switching off.

The rear electric burner has a diameter of 14 cm and a power of 1.2 kW, and the front one has 18 cm and 1.7 kW. The appropriate type of heat treatment can be set using the switches on the control panel. 6 power levels are offered: the minimum is suitable for warming up, the second and third are for stewing and slow cooking, and the rest are for quickly boiling water, boiling and frying.

2 gas burners

Gas-fired heating zones Beko HILM 64222 S differ in size and heat output. So, the front one is more compact (by 1 kW) and the rear one is slightly larger (by 1.75 kW). Burners are equipped with cast-iron supports for placing dishes. Ease of use will provide auto-ignition, and safety — gas control system.

The disadvantages of the model include the lack of a powerful burner (both among electric and gas zones): it will take more time to heat or cook large portions of food. But even despite this, Beko HILM 64222 S is a noteworthy hob with a democratic price tag, as for glass-ceramic appliances.
