How to choose a projectorType, projection characteristics, type of lamp and matrix, as well as other criteria for choosing a projector

What to choose: a projector or a TV?Let's figure out when it's better to get a projector and when a TV
Model overview based on user reviews
The BenQ MW820ST is a solid and well-built projector designed primarily for presentations. It features long lamp life of up to 10,000 hours in energy-saving mode, thanks to its DLP technology, ensuring vibrant images over extended use. Users appreciate its ease of use and setup, compact design, and affordability, making it a great value for its price. While the picture quality is not the best available, it is acceptable for its cost. The projector is not wireless, which some users find limiting, and its 3D support is seen as unnecessary for office use, potentially increasing its cost. Overall, the BenQ MW820ST is recommended for those seeking functionality and durability in a budget-friendly package.
Pros
Cons
Personally, I am pleased with the long lifespan of the lamps up to 6.5K hours combined with DLP technology. In simple terms, this means the device will work for a very long time and provide vibrant images. On DLP projectors, the lamps don't burn out. Besides functionality, one can note the sleek design, compactness, ease of use, and setup. It looks more expensive on the stand than it actually costs. I am very satisfied with my choice and can recommend it. For this price, finding something more functional would be problematic. No dust filters, long lamp life, PRICE You can't connect without wires |
A very solid projector. Well-built, not too noisy. Long lamp lifespan. Quite a lot of settings, easy to understand. Picture quality is not perfect, we've seen better, but for its price, it's quite acceptable. Adequate design, nothing superfluous. Seems not. I was only surprised by the presence of 3D support. I don't understand why an office projector needs that. Unless it's for watching movies when the boss is away. This means the cost of the device ends up being somewhat higher than it could have been. use BenQ MW820ST month or more i recommend it should buy |

Additional features projector BenQ MW820ST:
Brilliant Colour Technology
Brilliant Colour technology improves colour reproduction, increases the number of colours transmitted, and also adds brightness to the image, which makes it more realistic. In conditions of a poorly darkened room, this reduces the quality loss when reproducing natural colours.
3D colour management
The 3D colour management function allows you to make adjustments to 6 colours (RGBCMY), namely the adjustment of the ranges and saturation of each of them according to your preferences.
Smart Eco Mode
SmartEco mode allows the projector to automatically adjust lamp power for maximum savings while maintaining the best image contrast and brightness.
No Source Detected Mode
Automatically activates the Eco Blank mode, which, when the projector is idle for 3 minutes without a video source, turns on a blank screen and sets the lamp power to 30%.
Eco Blank Mode
Eco Blank mode allows you to turn on a blank screen and save lamp power consumption by 70%.
