A balanced branded 3.1 format soundbar with enhanced surround sound, confident bass, built-in Bluetooth module for wireless gadget connections, and a USB port for playing audio files from drives. Such a device can provide a significantly improved level of sound that greatly surpasses the built-in speakers of televisions, which often struggle with delivering a wide frequency and dynamic range.
The Samsung HW-B650 soundbar is suitable for demanding users who value appropriate audio track playback for movies and music content. It is positioned as a mid-range product model for the year 2022. It consists of two main components: a front panel that can be placed directly beneath the TV or mounted on the wall, and a powerful external wireless bass reflex-type subwoofer with a Bass Boost function.
It supports Adaptive Sound Lite for adaptive sound optimization and Voice Enhance for voice amplification. Device connections are made through an optical port or standard HDMI port with eARC technology, allowing enjoyment of enhanced quality surround sound in formats such as Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual X. These formats provide the virtualization of surround sound, which is important not only for cinema but also for creating a sound atmosphere in games. Bluetooth allows simultaneous connection of up to two devices (smartphone, tablet, gaming console).

I will not say that I am a music lover or a great connoisseur of the audiophile segment. An ordinary user who wants to have the appropriate sound when watching movies and series on the big screen. Unfortunately, the built-in sound in TVs is only for a tick. If you want real immersion, then you need a speaker system for it. I have a Samsung TV, that's why I decided to choose this manufacturer for the acoustics, so that there would be a set. It is very easy to connect, then you need to sit for a while, listen and adjust the sound to your room. And then sit and get high. Of course, this is one of the simple models, say for small rooms or those who need quality sound, but not to turn the room into a cinema center with 7.1 acoustics. This is the basic model of the system, but still the sound changes dramatically compared to the TV speakers. It feels like you were listening to content through the phone's speaker, and suddenly Yamaha or Audiotekhnika headphones were put on you. If I change it, then only to a model with Atmos. This Samsung HW-B650 soundbar was a real revelation for me. After connecting it to the TV, the difference in sound is just staggering. When you switch from the TV speakers to the soundbar, it feels like the TV itself has changed. The 3.1 system with a separate subwoofer sounds spacious and rich. The bass is deep but without any rumble, and voices are clear and distinct (since the center channel is responsible for voice output). In movies, the sound has become lively, in games, there's a sense of presence, and even regular YouTube videos are perceived completely differently. I was expecting an improvement, but I didn't think it would be so noticeable. After this, going back to standard TV sound is not appealing at all. The soundbar truly offered a new experience for watching content. Now I'm even considering that the next step could be a model with Dolby Atmos to dive even deeper into the sound.
