From the press release:

Widescreen format 16:9
The 16:9 aspect ratio is the "golden rule" that defines the optical principles of human vision. This format corresponds to ideal visual perception and facilitates clear recognition of moving objects. Unlike conventional projectors designed to work with 4:3 presentation slides, the W500 accurately transmits 16:9 images without truncation or distortion of the image. Enjoy cinematic reproduction of films together with loved ones in the comfort of your home.

Forward to HD!
The W500 not only converts SD (Standard Definition, such as analog TV broadcasts) images into HD (High Definition) quality video, it also carefully analyzes as many as 1,024 pixels of the source to build one pixel of the final HD version. The result is that you see the image as if it came from an HD source.

Down with noise!
By carefully analyzing multiple frames of the input video signal, the W500 identifies which pixels are creating visual noise and eliminates them. At the same time, distortions that sometimes occur when the signal is too heavily compressed are corrected.

Let's forget about jaggedness
Modern technology of multidimensional diagonal filtering MDDF effectively removes from the image jagged edges that sometimes appear on moving objects. It successfully copes even with very small angles - from 5° to 7°, while conventional filters eliminate such distortions with a much larger angle - from 30° to 45°.
