The remote is convenient and looks cool, but through the app, you can even adjust the temperature remotely, as long as the Wi-Fi is stable. We bought it for the cottage, the bedroom is on the second floor, and I set the temperature for myself completely and only at the feet for my wife about 20 minutes before going to bed while sitting on the first floor.
