I was searching for a reliable cast-iron pan since I have a cast-iron pot that is half a century old and looks like new. Imagine my disappointment after using this pan a few times. Have you ever seen cast iron rust? I hadn't either, but now I have. The pan looks very solid, heavy, weighs 1.357 kg, and has a removable handle, which is also a big plus. But using it for its intended purpose is impossible. I use it for baking in the oven, provided that I line the bottom and sides with parchment paper. I do not recommend it.
