Better than an impact drill

Rotary hammer Bort BHD-18X-BLK will be required by those who lack the capabilities of an impact drill. It is more powerful (impact energy 1.7 J) and is not “tied” to sockets. But keep in mind that it can only drill (with or without impact, like a conventional drill). There is no chiseling mode for this tool. Therefore, it can be used for serial drilling of holes in durable materials, such as brick or concrete, but for such work as knocking down plaster and tiles, it is completely unsuitable.

Design and equipment

The rotary hammer has a brushless motor (compared to conventional motors, it produces more power in a smaller size and consumes less energy) and a backlight for working in low light conditions. But the design does not provide an anti-vibration system (the handle is made as one piece with the body, and is not “suspended” on hinges). Therefore, when working in the hammer drilling mode, your hands will vibrate noticeably along with the rotary hammer.

Comes with a case with a charger and two rechargeable batteries (capacity of 3 Ah). Therefore, it is convenient to store the tool at home or in the workshop and carry it with you (especially since it has a moderate weight of 2.6 kg).

Simple and inexpensive cordless rotary hammer

The Bort technique is a household class tool. She has a very attractive price, so drills, screwdrivers, grinders and saws of this brand are bought in order to work in a home workshop or do repairs with their own hands. But they frankly do not pull on the title of a professional instrument.

If this perforator seemed too weak to you, then you should take a closer look at its “big brother” Bort BHD-18Li-BLZ, which has more impact energy (2.2 J).
