The Einhell HEROCCO rotary hammer belongs to the Einhell family of professional hand-held power tools, focused on performing a significant amount of assembly, dismantling or construction work. The main operating mode of the tool is drilling with impact (2.2 J, up to 5500 beats / min), in which it is able to quickly create holes with a diameter of up to 20 mm in durable concrete grades, artificial / natural stone, brick and other hard mineral materials. In the chiselling mode, the rotary hammer is able to make grooves (strobes) in plasters and light / medium concrete without any problems. The standard SDS Plus keyless chuck makes it possible to quickly change equipment without the use of auxiliary tools. Provides simple and effective protection of the operator's hands from vibration.

With the versatility of the Einhell HEROCCO rotary hammer, everything is just fine. It can work in any mode. The tool can drill (with and without impact) and hammer in any way (with or without turning the drill). Moreover, the hammer can even be used as a screwdriver, because it comes with a special magnetic adapter for bits, and the rotation speed is easy to control by changing the pressing force on the start key.
Advantages and disadvantages
The brushless motor makes efficient use of the energy drawn from the battery. Therefore, the rotary hammer can hammer quite strongly (impact energy 2.2 J) and quickly drill (speed reaches 1200 rpm), rotating a drill or drill with a diameter of up to 20 mm, and tighten fasteners tightly (torque 18 Nm). There is enough energy even for LED lighting, which illuminates the work area with bright light. In the case with the tool there are accessories: an additional handle and a depth gauge.
The shortcomings should be recorded as the mediocre operation of the anti-vibration system. It works somehow and dampens the vibration only partially. Therefore, this hammer is not suitable for more or less long-term work. However, one should not expect anything else from a household class instrument.
Inexpensive rotary hammer for home or garage
Einhell HEROCCO is one of the most inexpensive models among cordless rotary hammers. But, while rubbing your hands at the low price, remember that the battery is not included, and you will have to buy it separately (the manufacturer recommends using a battery with a capacity of 3 Ah or more). Buying this rotary hammer is most beneficial for those who already have 18-volt batteries from other types of Einhell cordless tools.
