Bought a Bosch Professional angle grinder second-hand about three years ago because the old Chinese one was barely holding on - and I'll tell you, I haven't regretted a cent! The machine is a beast: cuts metal, pipes, rebar - takes it all without question. There's plenty of power, it maintains the revolutions steadily, doesn't stall, even when you put a little pressure on it. The soft start is great, it doesn't jolt out of your hands, and the body is convenient, lightweight, you can work with one hand, either on top or from the side. I've run it for several hours straight - it doesn't overheat too much, noise is normal, dust doesn't get inside. You can tell it's made with quality, like everything from Bosch. durable, reliable, pulls well, light in the hand, smooth start, convenient speed control, dust resistant the cord is a bit short, and after long use, the body gets slightly warm — but that's minor stuff, I don't consider it a problem at all. |
Considering my personal experience with the Bosch GWS 750 S Professional, I'd like to share my insights. This tool leaves a pleasant impression with its compactness and ease of use, and the speed regulator allows for a wider range of accessories. The convenient slider switch, soft start, and protection against accidental starting (specifically looking for this since I'm cautious with similar tools) are great features. The fact that I liked this model is evidenced by the fact that I purchased a Bosch handle with vibration damping for it. I'm not saying that the grinder vibrates much or that the included handle is of poor quality (on the contrary, its plastic is more reliable compared to cheaper ones), but the larger and rubberized handle definitely adds confidence to the grip. I didn’t throw away the standard handle; I use it in cases where the larger one can't reach the desired spot. An additional advantage is the ability to extend the warranty period to 3 years since the tool is part of the professional line. However, there are certain drawbacks to note. Specifically, the material of the hex key for the protective cover was not the best, as it quickly started slipping in the screw, making the fixation process more difficult. As for the power cord, in my opinion, it's too short since I have experience working with another grinder that has a longer cord. I don’t consider this critical, as I generally use an extension cord with both models. Overall, the Bosch GWS 750 S Professional is an excellent grinder, and its good qualities and price far outweigh its drawbacks. Manual, with wrap adjustment, soft start, protection against water leakage. Too short wire and too soft hex key edges. |
Comfortable, pleasant to use, good grip. The power reserve is very solid, good torque. It cuts smoothly and accurately, runs smoothly during operation, and there is very little vibration. On the first day I worked almost non-stop for several hours - I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable weight and balance of the tool. Powerful, comfortable, functional No |
Professional Approach to Small Angle Grinders
The compact Bosch GWS 750 S Professional 0601394121 angle grinder is in the professional class and designed for working with metal, stone, wood, plastic, and other materials. Equipped with a 750 W motor (providing 380 W at the output shaft), it handles prolonged workloads confidently. Like other models in the Bosch Professional series, the tool features reliable dust protection: armature and stator windings are shielded, bearings are protected, and a well-thought-out ventilation system prevents dirt from entering the housing, thereby extending the device's service life.
A Close Look at Design and Features
The angle grinder's body has a small diameter, making it convenient to hold with one hand. For more precise and stable operations, an additional handle is included in the package. The short front "overhang" of the gearbox, barely extending beyond the spindle, enables working in hard-to-reach areas and corners of metal structures. The convenient start button can operate with or without locking, and the speed adjustment wheel at the end of the housing allows changing the disc rotation speed in the range of 2800–11000 RPM. The starting current limiter ensures a smooth engine start, and the cable, measuring 2.5 m with a sturdy neoprene insulation, is resistant to cold and oil exposure.
A Versatile Tool for Various Tasks
Thanks to effective dust protection and high reliability, the Bosch GWS 750 S Professional 0601394121 is widely used by tilers, masons, and welders. This angle grinder is suitable for cutting rebar and sheet metal, cleaning weld seams, working with stone, and performing other tasks in workshops, on construction sites, or in manufacturing facilities.
