Infinitely adjustable cutting depth

Thanks to the precise soleplate, the Bosch PHO 2000 electric planer perfectly cuts even “knotty” wood and “croaker”. The planing depth (from 0 to 2 mm) can be infinitely adjusted (in 0.5 mm increments) using a screw switch, which also acts as a driving handle. In this case, the groove can be selected up to 8 mm, which is especially convenient for the tenon connection of parts.

Double-sided knives for long work

The sole of the model is equipped with three V-shaped grooves of different widths, so the edge of the workpiece can be perfectly adjusted to the required size. According to the manufacturer, Woodrazer's patented blade system provides perfect chip removal from the board without the need for post-processing of the workpiece. Do you know how it works in fact? It would be nice to confirm or deny. The knives themselves have a double-sided sharpening, so when one side becomes dull, you can turn it over and continue working. The parking shoe ensures a stable position of the planer without the blades coming into contact with the workpiece.

All accessories at hand

The appliance is equipped with a small sliding box for storing hexagons and spare knives, so that the necessary components are always at hand. Also on the right side of the body there is a small hole for storing one hex key, which is needed to change the knives on the shaft. The planer is equipped with a double-sided dust removal system (convenient for right-handers and left-handers). It is enough to attach a vacuum cleaner or a bag on one side, and close the valve on the other. The rubberized handle will not allow the tool to slip out of your hands. The power cord is reinforced at the base, so it does not bend during operation.
