Power consumption indication
The Bosch PKF 375 FP1E cooking hob with 2 electric highlight burners is a compact stove of the large Bosch Serie 6 (comfort) line. The model is made on the basis of a black glass-ceramic plate with heating tapes built into it. The side edges of the panel are framed by an aluminium frame, and the front and rear edges are made with a ComfortProfil bevel that harmoniously fits into the tabletop. The electric stove is designed for a connection power of 3.5 kW, powered by a 220 – 240 V household power supply. One of the interesting features of the hob is the statistical function of counting and displaying the electricity spent during operation, which makes it possible to estimate approximate operating costs.
PowerBoost maximum power mode
A convenient touch control panel with a linear scale of 9-step temperature settings for DirectSelect burners simplifies the selection of the required operating parameters. The rear single-circuit burner Ø 14.5 cm has a power of 1.2 kW, and the front dual-circuit Ø 12/18 cm has a power of 1.0/2.0 kW. An additional reserve of power can be activated by turning on the PowerBoost function, which allows you to speed up cooking by 20%. The residual heat indication is displayed as "H" (very hot) and "h" (warm) and disappears when the surface has completely cooled down. Do not neglect the possibility of using the residual heat of the surface to heat up small amounts of food — this is a good opportunity to save on energy consumption.
ReStart — restart with restoration of parameters
The emergency automatic shutdown option is activated when the panel heats up for a long time without changing the settings. In this case, the heating of the burners is completely turned off, the duration of continuous operation of which is from 1 to 10 hours, depending on the level of installed power. Traditional child protection in this model is complemented by a short 30-second sensor lock to wipe the control panel while the hob is in operation. The built-in timer can work in 3 modes: with setting the time for automatic shutdown after cooking, setting the time for sound notification and starting the stopwatch. The latter option will be in demand for short-term processes, for example, if you need to boil soft-boiled eggs. In the event of a power failure, the ReStart function will automatically restore the previous settings the next time the panel is turned on.
