Brother DCP-T220

Introduced in 2021, the inkjet multifunction printer is positioned by Brother as a compact (435x359x159 mm) device with a pleasant design, which is suitable for use at home or in a small office. The characteristic features of the model include the ability to print large volumes at low cost, which is ensured primarily by the presence of a built-in CISS with a simple ink replenishment procedure.

Without refueling, the Brother DCP-T220 MFP can print up to 7,500 black and white and up to 5,000 colour pages, while the recommended monthly duty cycle is 1,000 prints. Inkjet printing technology combines good detail (resolution up to 6000x1200 dpi) with good performance. The first page comes out in about 10 seconds, and the subsequent speed of work will be 16 and 9 ppm (for monochrome and colour printing, respectively), 8 and 3 ppm (for copying). Separately, it is worth mentioning the 150-sheet paper tray, which is capacious by the standards of home solutions, the non-alternative connection of the MFP to a PC via USB and the absence of a display (push-button controls are supplemented only by LED indicators).
