A relatively affordable and productive color multifunctional device in A4 format, capable of performing the functions of a high-speed double-sided LED printer, a high-speed double-sided flatbed scanner with an automatic document feeder (DADF, up to 50 pages), a copy machine with a fast scaling function and a fax. The manufacturer is positioning it as a product of the mid-price category in 2023, intended for office use in small and medium-sized work groups (recommended monthly print volume up to 4000 pages).

The Brother MFC-L8390CDW MFP has a high output speed (up to 30 pages), which makes it possible to quickly print and copy large, multi-page color documents of the highest quality. It is also worth noting the support for cloud services and the function of outputting files from USB drives connected to a special front USB connector. For full integration into the network infrastructure, there is a built-in high-speed Gigabit Ethernet LAN module. The integrated dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11n/ac) controller gives users the ability to scan documents directly to mobile gadgets, as well as wirelessly print from smartphones, tablets and laptops. 3 types of cartridges can be used as consumables: basic TN248 (monochrome/color - 1000/1000 pages), standard TN248XL (3000/2400 pages) and high-capacity TN249 (4500/4000 pages).
