appearance the first 1-2 months My wife gave me this alarm clock for my birthday because she knows I used to like Shock watches. I would never have bought it for such a price. I thought the watch would last for many years, but the joy didn't last - almost a month later the thread on the side winding knob stripped, the watch got filled with dust (I work in construction) and started to squeak, and the buttons became hard to press. The settings often get messed up and you can't restore them without the instructions. We checked the glass - it seems to be sapphire, although it gets scratched by a carbide drill bit. But what’s the point if the watch is rubber and quickly loses its appearance.
