Watch with thermometer

Thermometer

— a device for measuring ambient temperature. The simplest models of watches with this function are able to display only the current thermometer readings, more advanced ones may provide additional features — up to weather forecasts or determining the probability of a fish biting based on temperature fluctuations over the past few hours. Anyway, watches with a thermometer usually have a sports and tourist purpose and are intended mainly for those who often have to be "away from civilization" — outdoor enthusiasts, fishermen, sailors, military, etc.

Note that this function is practically mandatory for watches with a barometer (see the relevant paragraph), although the thermometer may well be provided as the only “weather” sensor.
