Group 2/3 folding car seat for children from 100 to 150 cm tall. It is supposed to be used from about 3 years of age of a small passenger up to 12 years. Chicco Fold and Go i-Size is installed by the person in the direction of the car and is fixed using the Isofix system and the car's standard seat belts, which also fasten the child. A special guide in the design of the chair keeps the seat belt in an optimal position over the baby's pelvic bones, reducing the force on the abdominal cavity during frontal collisions.

An additional pad on the belt is designed to protect the chin area and the thoracic region of the child. The model has a four-position backrest angle adjustment, independent adjustments of the headrest and backrest width. The removable side protection module Side Safety System is installed separately. Documentary confirmation of the high degree of safety of the car seat — product certification in accordance with the requirements of the European standard ECE R129 (i-Size).

Adaptive fit

The model is equipped with a backrest with a wide range of height adjustment and a 4-position tilt adjustment. The seat is installed facing forward, and both the product itself and the child are secured with a car seat belt. For greater stability, Isofix locking brackets are provided, compatible with most modern cars.

Fastening the belt in the pelvic area

One of the key features of the model is an additional seat belt attachment point in the pelvic area. This design solution reduces the risk of injury to the abdominal organs during frontal impacts. A soft pad on the belt is also provided, providing protection for the chin and thoracic spine of the child.

Enhanced side protection

For additional safety, a removable Side Safety System module can be attached to the sides of the chair. It is installed on the side of the nearest doorway and is designed to absorb the energy of side impacts. The design of the chair allows it to be folded compactly, and the built-in handle makes it easy to carry.
