Model overview based on user reviews
The Cooling Baby Q13 is an active cooler designed for processors, featuring a beautiful design with RGB lighting. However, users have expressed significant concerns about its performance and build quality. The cooler struggles to manage heat effectively, with reports of processors heating up to 95 degrees even though it claims to handle up to 95W TDP. Installation is challenging due to flimsy latches and a lack of instructions, leading to a wobbly fit. Additionally, the cooler's fins are described as fragile, and there are complaints about the durability of the fans, which reportedly fail after a few months. Overall, while the aesthetic appeal is noted, the product is criticized for its poor cooling capabilities and construction issues, making it a questionable purchase for those prioritizing performance.
Pros
Cons
the design may and will be nice to someone, but I'm sick of such a design, but the design would be fine, the ryzen 3 1200 warmed up under it to 95 degrees !!! What 95 watts, it doesn’t drain 65, it was also defective (the latch was didn’t move, barely straightened it), the ribs were made of foil with chocolate bars, I immediately handed it back. Also, the fans from this company died after 5-6 months ... doesn't even stink fastening marriage, absolute inability to remove 65W of heat, flimsy fins. |
I bought this cooler, my processor's TDP is 65W, on an open stand the processor heated up to 40-50 degrees without any problems, in games it reached 70-80. Beautiful design, lighting No instructions Poor cooling Very difficult to install (it’s not about strength, but when you secure one latch in place and then apply pressure to secure the other, it slips inside) It wobbles |
