An unusual low-profile CPU cooler that stands out due to its combination of compact size, cooling efficiency and noise level. The design height is 75 mm, which is almost half the size of standard tower coolers, while the efficiency is only a little higher than full-size coolers. The Shadow Rock LP has a rather large and heavy heat sink, and it is pierced by three copper heat pipes with indirect contact with the processor cover.

With a full-height deck, a horizontal fan layout, and a heatsink with four indirect contact copper heatpipes, Be quiet! The Shadow Rock LP is capable of efficiently dissipating up to 130W of heat, which is sufficient for most mid-range consumer processors with 6 or 8 physical cores. The spinner is based on a classic plain bearing and can automatically adjust the speed of rotation of the blades with a maximum speed of 1500 rpm.

At peak load, the low-profile system generates a noise level in the region of 26 dB and claims to be, if not silent, then very quiet. Such solutions are best manifested in situations where the user simultaneously requires decent efficiency, low noise level and high compatibility with other components.
