Design

The hair dryer of the famous Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is made in the style of Dyson devices, but it only costs several times cheaper. It has the same futuristic design: a round shape without an elongated top, like conventional hair dryers. The motor and other elements are located in the handle, so it is slightly thicker. But the device still fits comfortably in the hand, without outweighing the top.

The nozzles included in the kit are fixed on magnetic mounts, which is very convenient. And the cord has a Chinese plug, so do not forget to buy an adapter, and there is no loop for hanging on it.

Power

The hair dryer is equipped with a 1400 W brushless motor with a rotation speed of up to 110K revolutions per minute. It provides a strong airflow, as a result of which it will take up to 5 to 10 minutes to dry the hair, depending on the length. And for styling, you can use concentrator nozzles: one with a narrower outlet, the second with a wider one. There is an ionization function so that the hair is not electrified and is smooth. Despite the power, the device is not too noisy.

There are only two buttons on the case. The first is responsible for turning on and off, as well as the choice between two speeds of operation. The second is designed for temperature modes: cold, warm or hot air, and each is highlighted in a certain colour. It is convenient that the button does not need to be pressed to turn on cold air, and the hair dryer also remembers the last selected mode.

In addition, built-in sensors monitor the temperature so that it does not go beyond the maximum limit, and turn off the motor if it overheats as a result of continuous use.
