Smart and powerful
The scooter from the well-known motorcycle manufacturer Ducati is positioned as the first model in the brand line to support smartphone control. In the application, you can track driving characteristics, check the current location of personal vehicles, set up cruise control.
The Ducati Pro-I Evo has got a fairly powerful 350 W electric motor, which contributes to fast acceleration, frisky driving and readiness for small climbs (up to 15 degrees). The speed limit reaches 25 km / h in sport mode, but there are also pedestrian and economical ones, with limits of 6 and 20 km / h, respectively.
For different road surfaces
The electric scooter is equipped with moderately large 8.5-inch wheels. They received inflatable tyres, which smooth out bumps on the roads well and give good stability to the model. But tyre pressure needs to be controlled, sometimes pumped, and, of course, the chambers must be protected from punctures.
The front wheel is complemented by electronic, and the rear - by an effective disc brake. With the latter, the distance covered before stopping is reduced, which increases the overall safety of the ride, but skidding is possible with sharp braking in corners.
Not just for short trips
A battery with a capacity of 7.8 Ah (or 280 W * h) is responsible for powering the electric motor. Passport power reserve reaches 30 km, that is, medium-range trips for a scooter are not contraindicated. It usually takes about 4 hours to recharge the battery capacity.
Among other features, it is worth highlighting the familiar folding design with not the most pliable mechanisms, the willingness to withstand a 100-kilogram user with a dead weight of 12 kg. Of the minuses in the reviews, they note a short mudguard on the rear fender, so driving through puddles will probably end with soiled clothes. Otherwise, the Ducati Pro-I Evo is a well-balanced model in terms of power, autonomy and lightness.
