Good buy for home wood, metal and concrete work

Cosmetic repairs in the apartment have been long overdue. In the past, during pre-crisis times, I would have hired a small crew and they would have turned the place into a "candy" in a couple of weeks, but now I'm "broke" and decided to spend my abundant free time on DIY repairs. And what kind of repair is done without power tools? I consider a hammer drill the most versatile option for home work. In a panel high-rise, it can do everything except major work on load-bearing walls. I spent about two decades on "cosmetic" work in two rooms and the corridor, and thanks to this tool, the work progressed well.

Drills wonderfully. The power is quite high, so the main thing is to hold onto the handles tightly and brace yourself well. The hammer drilling mode is also good. It goes through an ordinary interior concrete partition wall of a "Soviet panel" like a knife through butter. It's not as vigorous with much harder load-bearing walls, but you can manage a small drilling job with a few holes. For more extensive tasks on load-bearing walls, a hammer drill is needed since the impact energy of this drill is insufficient for such work. Thanks to the speed control and reverse, it can also be used as a screwdriver. The chuck is standard for this type of tool – a gear-crowned one. I would like to note its precise centering and complete absence of runout, which, while not rare for non-professional tools, is not a guarantee in every case.

The drill arrived in a regular cardboard box and a plastic bag. The plastic case is not included and it is inconvenient. In the process of work, I lost the key to the cartridge twice and had to look for it for a long time. The electrical power cable is unnecessarily rigid, it just becomes a stake.
